| Job Description |
Expertise in designing and implementing networks, local and wide area, including everything from network hardware selection, to setting up BGP sessions for multiple providers in multiple locations, to designing vlan schemes, to configuring GRE tunnels. Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve faults in the operational network and proactively monitor network health with various monitoring tools. Conduct routine hardware and software audits of all supported systems to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and requirements. Maintain proper change management documentation for all hardware and software modifications. Support Windows Server 2008/2010 R2 in a highly-Virtualized VMware & MS Hyper-V Environment Focused on: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTFS Permissions, Shares, and Printer Management. Monitor systems and provide information and statistics and/or act on system performance and capacity alerts for items such as CPU, RAM, storage, etc. Provide first-level network triage and troubleshooting for all trouble tickets, escalating up to Engineering when appropriate. |
| Qualifications Required | Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other Technologies and 1-year experience as Network Engineer. |
